Members of Indigenous People Of Biafra have taken to social media to celebrate the death of an Imo state born moslem who died in an auto crash while returning home to celebrate the Eid with his family.
Mallam Yusuf Chinedozi Nwoha, the director of administration at the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), died along Abuja-Okene road
According to The Guardian, Nwoha died in a ghastly accident on his way to Owerri, Imo state to celebrate the Sallah festival. In a statement signed by NSCIA’s chairman, media committee, Femi Abba, the tragic development took place along the ill-fated Okene road in Kogi state.
In the report, Abba said: “With heavy hearts and impregnable sobriety, the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affair (NSCIA) hereby announces the demise of its Director of Administration, Mallam Yusuf Chinedozi Nwoha.
“He died in a road accident at Okene, Kogi State, on his way to Owerri in Imo State for Eidul Adha last Wednesday.”
However, as soon as the news broke out, members of the Biafran group took to their Facebook page, the Radio Biafra London, to celebrate the death, saying that the deceased betrayed the land by accepting Islam as a religion.
