The Edo state Police Command have arrested a woman, Mrs. Juwon Akanbieme who’s heavily pregnant alongside two of her gang members during a failed robbery operation in the state.
Oceanicnews gathered that Mrs. Juwon who is the leader of the robbery gang is 9-months pregnant and uses it as a bait to lure unsuspecting persons to be robbed by her other gang members.
The Edo state Police Public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwabuzor while confirming the arrest disclosed the names of two other gang members as Osagiede Izevbokun and Godfrey Okonide.
He stated that the gang’s method of operation is for the pregnant leader to stand on the road pretending to be in labor in a bid to attract sympathy from passerbys.
He continued by disclosing that anyone who stops to assist the pregnant woman is attacked and robbed by her other gang who hanged around in bushes with dangerous weapons.

It was also revealed that their criminal activities had been going on in the state before the police tracked and arrested them.
The suspects, according to the police will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigation.
