For the first time since the outbreak of COVID-19, the governor of Enugu state, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi attended the monthly meeting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) held on Saturday across the state.
The governor who paid unscheduled visit to some council areas, seized the opportunity to thank and appreciate party faithfuls.
Addressing jubilant party members, the Governor appreciated the members for their steadfastness and prayed for the continued God’s protection. He specifically thanked God for his kindness and mercy throughout the peak of the pandemic that wrecked havoc globally.
Reaffirming his support and dedication towards the course of the party in the state, the governor stressed that the party under his watch is very strong and resilient. He however thanked the supporters for being steadfast in their support for the party, he told them that “we are not taking your support for our party for granted”.
