Ogogoro Seller Reports Self To Police After Stabbing Customer To Death In Osun

The Osun State Police Command has taken into custody, a seller of locally brewed liquor, popularly known as Ogogoro for stabbing his customer to death during a fight at his shop.

The incident happened on Monday, September 13, when the suspect identified as Mumini Olanipekun, Oceanicnews gathered, engaged the deceased simply identified as Wale, in an argument which later degenerated into a fight.

Eyewitnesses say the suspect, during the fight with his customer at his shop located in Ifon Orolu, stabbed the deceased with a broken bottle on the neck and stomach.
Wale gave up the ghost while being taken to the hospital.
The suspect however reported himself to the police.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Yemisi Opalola, said the suspect has been taken to custody while an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
