When the family of Onyeabor left Eke Udi village en route their Enugu base in a family car, little did they know that they will be running into an ambush laid by yet-to-be identified gunmen.
Close to the Nigerian Breweries located at the 9th mile areas of the state, daredevil gunmen emerged from the bush and sprayed their car with bullets.
It was theartric and a piece of bravey as Mr Onyeabor managed to speed off amidst the cacophonious sounds of gunshots raining on their vehicle.
Unfortunately, little Onyeabor gave up the ghost at the hospital while the wife who sustained gunshot injuries on her arm is responding to treatment.
This is coming barely few weeks after the governor of the state, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi purchased over 100 security vehicles to booster
security in the state.
