The media war between the ex warlord and leader of the defunct Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Mujahid Asari Dokubo and the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu seems to have no end on sight, as the former accused the later of collecting bribe and betraying his members to the DSS.
Recall that Kanu just recently accused Dokubo of collecting the sum of#20,000,000 when he was in prison in the year 2016 but instead of doing what they agreed on, betrayed him and invited the Nigerian security forces to round members of the Biafran group.
But Asari Dokubo has come out to debunk the allegations, saying that it’s the IPOB leader who collected bribe from governors to betray his members.
In a video obtained by Oceanicnews, Dokubo said:
“Nnamdi Kanu, your followers have challenged me that if I did not collect N20m from you I should swear by the Qur’an, I swear by the Qur’an that I never collected N20m from you or any of your members.
“I never betrayed any of your members, you sent them to me and they left, as we speak I have about 18 IPOB members staying in my house because of the love and trust they have for me. So many IPOB members, BSS Commanders come to me and even beg me not to talk.
“I swear, if I collected any money or betrayed any Biafran, may Allah punish me in this world and the one after.
“I also now ask Kanu to swear if you have not being collecting monies from all the governors of the Igbo states and beyond running into hundreds of millions.
“Swear that you have never betrayed IPOB members to the DSS, I know that whether you swear or not your days are numbered.
“You will soon be punished and the whole world would see your disgrace. I stand by the Quran and maintain that if I ever demanded N200m and you gave me N20m, may Allah punish and disgrace me in this world and the one thereafter.”
“So before the Igbo people call us they should look at themselves and take control of all these oil fields then we will take them seriously, they should be able to address their people.
He said:“I laugh at Igbo people, they should be able to reign in their rotten eggs and if they are not, others will generalise because some of them don’t represent Igbos but abuse others. Igbo’s should discipline their recalcitrants, idiotic, stupid fellow Igbos.
“IPOB members always talk about oil production and question the benefits Ijaw people have derived from oil production, as if there are no oil-producing communities in Igbo land which qualifies them to be part of the NDDC when they are not Niger Delta.
“The oil-producing areas in Igbo land like Owanza, Aza, Ogwuta, Ndukwa, Obar, who is in the management of those oil fields? Is it the Igbo people that are managing it?
“Today, Ijaw people are benefiting more from oil production than any other people and whatever benefits accrued to others from oil is a fight of the Ijaw people.
“So before the Igbo people call us they should look at themselves and take control of all these oil fields then we will take them seriously, they should be able to address their people.
“We when we talk the whole world shakes, oil price comes down but then what have they done, only to rant.
“They have nothing other than to rant, I challenged Nnamdi Kanu and his group to take over Owanza, Egbema, and other oil fields if they are men. We take and close down oil fields at will. The flow station on my family land I closed it now since 2000, Nnamdi Kanu should go and do the same.
“Whatever benefit oil-producing areas are getting today is from the struggle of Ijaw people, be it NDDC, Amnesty is solely from our struggle, carry out yours and bring something to your people let us see rather than ranting cowardly rant.
