A Fulani herdsman named Ibrahim Garba, from Bani, Fulani camp, in Kaima Local government areas of Kwara state, has been sent to prison by the Ilorin Magistrates court for allegedly killing a fellow herder with a machete after a fight broke out in a beer palor.
The prosecutor, Insp. Al-Hassan Jibrin, disclosed that on October 29, Abubakar Mohammed reported that some Fulani boys engaged in a brawl in a beer palor situated in Bani, Kara market.
It was reported that the accused while being interrogated, admitted to have taken alcohol before visiting the beer parlor. He pleaded not guilty and the case adjourned to December 14 for hearing.
