The All Progressive Congress APC has announced the removal of Mr Nwokedi Ugwuoke who until the announcement, was the Chairman of the party at Ozzi ward 7, Igbo Eze North local government area of Enugu State.
Announcing the removal, the local government party Chairman Mr Festus Ayogu told pressmen that the removal of the former ward Chairman became necessary over his insubordination, anti party activities and many others.
He disclosed that the ousted Chairman has been calling illegal local government meeting in his house where he assumed the party’s local government chairman position.
He later announced that replacing the sacked Chairman is Mr Nduka Obetta who was sworn in to continue the task of steering the party to safety. Oceanicnews were reliably informed that the new Chairman has been presented to the state Chairman of the party, Mr Ben Nwoye.
Confirming the development, the Chairman said that he has been briefed on the development that took place on the 16th of June at ward level in Igbo Eze North local government area of the state. He went ahead to declare support, saying that he’s satisfied that young and energetic party men are taking over the mantle of leadership of the party.
