Distinguished Senator Ayogu Eze has disclosed that the Enugu state chapter of All Progress Congress (APC) will soon welcome more decamping governors as the party, according to him, has become the beautiful bride.
Senator Eze who made the statement while celebrating the new year with the party’s executives at the party’s office in Enugu ceased the opportunity to urge the party faithfuls to remain steadfast as good foundation is being laid to ensure that the party forms the next government in the state.
“A new dawn is about to begin for APC,” he declared, stating that “if we play our card well, we will be in a position to form a new government in Enugu State.
“We need to lay a good foundation, and if we do, in 2023, APC will form the next government. We are now realigning, we are talking to our brothers and friends in other parties.
“APC is becoming a beautiful bride. Imo has fallen for APC, Ebonyi has fallen for APC and one or two more States in the southeast will fall very soon. I can predict that to you” he said.
Sen. Eze contested the state governorship election on the platform of APC in the last general elections. Highlights of the occasion was the presentation of both cash and material gifts to Hon Ben Nwoye, the state party chairman to be shared among members of the party.
