A Knight of Anglican Communion arrested for robbery in Lagos.

Sir Peter Uche, who claimed to be a Knight of the Anglican Church has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for allegedly leading a 7-man robbery gang to vandalize MTN mast at Ejigbo areas of Lagost state.

It was reported that the suspect was arrested and recovered in his SUV were batteries and iron cutters the gang had already stolen.

Sir Uche who hails from Orlu Imo state and a knight of St Francis of the Anglican Communion, Ojo Alaba areas of the state, was arrested at 3:am, November 19, 2019 after State Anti robbery squad acting on distress calls from resident who alerted them of the gang’s criminal activities at the Mast at Double Power Line Ejigbo, swooped on the robbers and arressted Sir Uche, while other members of the gang fled on sighting the policemen.

Items recovered from Sir Uche who confessed to be a dismissed soldier were 12 MTN mast batteries, iron cutter and his Toyota 4Runner SUV.

It was gathered that the robbers went to the MTN mast at Double Powerline, Ejigbo and had loaded twelve batteries into the vehicle they brought before Police stor
